Hate when people recommend a "sad" story that I'm thinking will have the loss of and grieving for loved ones, self harm, mental health issues related, etc, idk, something more complex and layered with nuance, but it's just a rape slop story where the character gets tortured from beginning to end. Like boohoo it's so sad he's getting gangraped left and right, I'm not sad, I'm pissed the author thought this was content worth drawing in detail for every panel every chapter.
Rape slop stories don't count as "sad" stories because it's clearly fetish content. We've lost the damn plot.

Full moon Alchemist. I really did enjoy this at the beginning. Still think it's a decent read overall but oof, the latter half pacing was very bad. An amnesia arc to boot. Just lots of oof. I feel kind of iffy recommending this because imo it kind of fell.

Today I found out author of Until I Meet My Husband, you know the infamous story about gay author who wrote a BL based on his life experiences up until he met his husband....yeah, come to find out they had a messy divorce and there was allegations he CHEATED. Story has a plot outside of romance between the main characters. Characters need to have motivations/goals beyond wanting to get together with each other. Pacing needs to flow naturally throughout the story. NO UNNECESSARY RAPE/SA. If your story is a fluffy premise, I don't want to see the characters getting drugged and raped in detail out of nowhe......

It's important to highlight CONSENT in cnc. Consent which can be taken or given and the play STOPS depending on it. Cnc is still 1000000% better than SA/rape regardless of what anyone feels about it. People being kinky is not the same as literal violence against another person.

In the homepage when someone trying to locate a specific story and summarize the plot and multiple people reply with the link to said story within minutes apart (because they haven't refreshed the page so they don't know someone else already gave an answer). It's not always 100% success rate but at least people try to be helpful ️
