Is it right to abort a child simply because it may be disabled??
I've seen this discourse around online and it got me really thinking, like ofc obv it's on the mom's choice but some ppl are saying that's like saying "disabled people don't deserve to live" And "that you should love your child no matter what" Or some stuff like that but what are your guys takes on this?
The argument here is usually eugenics. But imo, the community/society is not ready for larger responsibility of disabled children/persons. People may have opinions on the choices of a mother who knows they cannot take care of a disabled child, but those same people won't reach out a helping hand the moment that child is born and the mother is strug...... 1 reply
