recently there has been a surge of people larping yuri to make himes follow them on social media and also because it's becoming "mainstream" (ESPECIALLY this one creater called baldbangbaddie, she not only fetishizes gay people and romanticizes rape but also larps yuri now?) AND NANA TOO WHY DOES EVERYONE AND THEIR MOTHERS LARP IT Like I get it sometimes people do larp mainstream media but people larping yuri just feels like something they're doing for the sake of it....
How do you know that they're just "larping"( hate that word)it? Maybe they just finally decided to give gl a try? In the past, I only watched/read shounen and shoujo, but later I became interested in BL and other genres, and a little while after that in GL.
