opinion on this?

I don't wanna be mean or anything but is it me or is it really hard to find a really good yaoi? Popular yaoi nowadays is smutty or toxic af (which has always existed in a lot of them tbh but its gotten more popular) sure there's some gems but I feel like there's more hidden gems but they're not popular bc it's not slop or the art isn't beautiful or smth I remember reading a peak shounen ai a while ago n ppl were calling it boring n I have a feeling it was bc it had no smut but I could be wrong

There r some gems amongst the popular ones but they're quite rare but I've js been rereading a bunch of yaoi so idk I can't really chat cuz I do read a lot of toxic n smutty yaoi but I miss coming across a gem every once in a while

I would love some reccomendations of yaoi u yourself consider a gem or if u wanna reccomend anything romantic that's good :3 (no doomed I cry easily qwq)
