Not really something I dislike but something I see often, friendships that feel very distant like they're only there for the "role" of a friend and not as someone who's there for you. I'm guessing it's because authors don't want people to ship the character with anyone else but the love interest...? Idk but it feels really shallow and kind of ruins...... reply
