I really like monolid eyes and on avg I think my crush have that type of eyes and most of them are of Chinese descent. any character that have that type of eyes attracted me. I read Disorder and Desire bc of the glasses guy on the cover. my favorite character rn is Geto. ever since I laid eyes on that man I'm gone people who express similar attraction is usually called Asian fetishizer but idk if I myself is on that level yet, cuz 1. I'm another flavor of asian 2. i like this feature on every race, not limited to asian. 3. idk what my third point is I just don't want to be an (east) Asian fetishizer. my ancestors will be disappointed in me
I feel like the difference is that with simple attraction is that you just find certain features beautiful but with fetishization, I feel like it’s more objectifying and seeing someone for their features/race. 2 reply
What you’ve described is very much just a preference rather than fetishization, especially considering that you can name the specific features that you’re attracted to and that your attraction to the feature isn’t dependent on race. For instance, there of plenty of East Asians who don’t have monolids.
