im tired to teach ppl that wallah isnt a muslim word, it's a Arabic word, Allah is simply god in Arabic, not muslim god. Christians who are middle eastern, say Allah, it doesn't mean they're muslim. Secondly it's just a word, I hate it when ppl get offended when I say that. I grew up around this word, I can speak Arabic and Assyrian, im from Baghdad, im from a village that got abandoned due to ISIS, I think I know what im talking about. IT'S JUST A WORD, QUIT ACTING LIKE I BURNT DOWN YOUR FAMILY CAUSE I SAY IT PLEASE
Idc if u say it but u cant just say its just an word,since it has the name god in it It can come as disrespectful to Christians and Muslims if u don't say it without any meaning or reason. That's why its frowned upon since its seen as disrespectful,i mean it has the word god in it? reply
Wait this is a geniune question, I'm not Muslim but my mum is, she's also from Baghdad, and I currently live in Jordan. I heard that allah is different from the word god because that would be ellah (اله), but because there's "al" (ال) then it means "THE god" which implies he's a one and only special being, so when saying wallah its like sweari...... reply
