Imo the worst thing about Killing Stalking is how thoroughly it poisoned the BL scene. Sure, it is definitely not the first toxic story out there, but because platforms slapped it with that genre tag, a huge chunk of readers treated it like a twisted romance instead of the psychological horror it actually is.
