So I've been chatting online with this one girl I met in a game. It's been about 6 months since we developed some kinda relationship (all online). And it has actually become deep and meaningful throughout these months, to the point we consider ourselves as dating each other. The only issue is that she treats me like a boy, like how you are a bit mean to your bf or how you ignore you bf. Mind you, I also am androgynous, but biologically I'm still a woman. So I have told her multiple times that I am a woman, so stop treating me like a boy. When we chat alone, just the two of us, everything is fine. When we go in the game and some of our other mutual friends are around us, she starts being mean to me , ignores me, she'll neglect my existence all the time. We've had multiple arguments over this and every time she apologises and promises to never do it again, but she does it again. Also I have repeatedly told her that being ignored is the one thing I hate and idk why she does it again and again. Is it so hard to be kind to me infront of her friends for her, while I'm always kind and gentle towards her even when I'm mad? And all of our mutual friends know about us btw. She has also told me on multiple occasions that she forgets that I'm a woman sometimes. Also she caught feelings for me knowing I am a woman, atleast that's what she told me. Today is the first time I'm going to sleep without fully resolving the matter with her, because I can no longer repeat the same shit to her. To my fellow sapphics, what should I do? Should I end it with her before we become even more close and leaving would be difficult? Or should I just wait this one out too, because again, she has done this multiple times and every time I have had to explain it to her.
Girl to be honest I had this kinda friend back in high school. I've been friends with her for 7 years and she used to ignore me in front of our other friends. So once I've got tired of it made another friend like best friend. My old friend didn't do anything or something like that but a few days later she first gaslighted me and started ignoring me...like hell it almost made me cry. So when I asked for the reason she told that my new friend has spread bad rumours about which was a lie. As I was a dumb high schooler I let my emotions take the control cause I thought how my new friend could do it when she knows that my old friend matters to me the most blah blah. So started ignoring my new friend. Poor girl didn't even try to talk to me cause I was furious. After that a lot of things happened. One of the craziest was she being friends with my new friend after 9 freaking months and her reason was that my new could protect her from the boys in our class cuz she was kinda masculine and our class representative. So she forced me to be friends with her even though I didn't want to. But a few days I started enjoy talks with my that new friend again and we became friends like before. After that my friend started to ignore me again. I gave her space thinking she could to me again when things are normal. But the next I learn from a classmate a friend of her that she started ignoring me and my new friend because she left a so called bestie of her because of us. Also a new lie of her. After all this I finally cut off all connection with her and never talked to her again. Now the new friend of mine is my one and only true friend. I can relate with you girl. Do what you feel like is right. After all you're the one in control of your life gurl. Sorry for the long talk bud.
You both seem to have this conservation many times, I've never encountered this in a relationship but it happened to me in a friendship, which exhausts me to no point in the past. Now I'm not sure about her intentions and I dont want to assume that she is careless if she has truly shown signs kf loving you, but sometimes walking out before you got too hurt is the best decision. I wouldnt judge you if you stayed either but I would advice you to try and talk to her one last time, maybe shes not taking it as seriously as you mean it to be, or maybe she really is just careless about your boundaries and whats comfortable for you, try having one last conversation and see how she reacts to you telling her about your frustrations and all, you could also discuss with her the possibility of a break up if that helps her take this more seriously (in the case she isnt of course)
She's not respecting your feelings or boundaries and she doesn't seem like she'll change the behaviour you're uncomfortable with, I personally would just break up. Or if you really want to give her ONE more chance BUT SERIOUSLY JUST ONE. If she stays exactly the same then break up fr. Best of luck.
I would say Have some self respect and move on. If someone doesn't change when you've told them multiple times, they are never going to. Aftetall, you should have been her priority. You're better off alone than being with someone who affects your mental health constantly. You'll surely find someone better later (● ̄(エ) ̄●)
