During covid my friends used to send yt vid of manifestation, something like "watch this video to manifest being skinny" and many other variations. Is it just me or do you guys think too that there's lack of creative storytelling in yaoi nowadays. It might also be just me because I've been reading since 2018, so I can no longer find anything new, everything is predictable and a copy paste of the most popular slop. Because my whole life I didn't have any bad skin issues and for more than half of that life I didn't even apply moisturizer to my face. I just washed my face with just water; and with cleanser if i went out. And one or two pimples popped out a few times, I didn't pop it or anything it just went away. The only time I tried skincare was when I was dating my ex because he made me fucking insecure about normal skin texture, and at that time I used to have horrible breakouts. Now I do apply moisturizer after I cleanse my face and that's it.
