Does extensive skincare work?
Does it work well for people who do it?
Because my whole life I didn't have any bad skin issues and for more than half of that life I didn't even apply moisturizer to my face. I just washed my face with just water; and with cleanser if i went out. And one or two pimples popped out a few times, I didn't pop it or anything it just went away. The only time I tried skincare was when I was dating my ex because he made me fucking insecure about normal skin texture, and at that time I used to have horrible breakouts. Now I do apply moisturizer after I cleanse my face and that's it.
As someone who used to splurge a lot on skin care.. just honestly do the basics. Cleansing, moisturizing, sunscreen.. that's it. Please do NOT experiment on combining products in one routine since some of them can do more harm than good (e.g multiple acids.. that shit will FRY your skin). Do your research, and consult a dermatologist as much as pos...... reply
