The words cannot describe how fucking disappointed I am....I never gave a shit about Ed but I genuinely didn't expect this tone deaf and ignorant ass response from one of my most fav jp artists who creates songs about rebellion against evil government, societal norms, oppression, institutional problems and sings about hope, solidarity and resilience. Makes you wonder, were these just for the vibes all this time??? (-_-#)
The most baffling thing about the whole fiasco is that ppl like Taka deciding to put Ed on a pedestal and speaking out for him as if he is the victim here and how "strong" and "brave" he is because of his sorry ass chatgpt-esqe whining on the stage. And then only deciding to talk about Macklemore after receiving backlash
Also it's so hard for them to say the word "genocide" for some reason and point out that Israel is the one that's causing this. "I'm against war"- what war you moron??? Talking about the right to have different views/opinions/perspectives when the right to LIVE on their own land is being taken away from Palestinians. I'm really not that suprised to see that Macklemore the goat's words flew right over these ppl's heads and the most important message to take away from all this is that absolutely NO ONE is victim here except Palestine. But what can you expect from those who are willing to stay blind and deaf and only open their mouths when it's the most convenient for them......
