disclaimer: this is specifically about bl/yaoi manga/manhwa/manhua (which i read a bit too much of
this might be weird, but i really don't like experienced x virgin pairings (and vice-versa).
like there's just something that always ends up feeling off about having one guy be "everything" for the other, especially since bl generally places so much emphasis on sex, etc.
I notice this trope also happens in tandem with the 'the seme misunderstood the uke and assumed he was a sex fiend for some reason' trope... I don't know if you know what I'm talking about but it happens in like; Punch Drunk, Limited Run, Banana Scandal (both couples I think? could be wrong), Low Tide in Twilight, Kiss me Liar(i think? been a while...... 1 reply
