This early morning the very awaited second episode of Jojo SBR finally came out. They nailed it, I can’t lie. The animation was incredible and the direction was exactly what I wanted. They improved the artstyle and the proportions. In few words, everything was going so unbelievably well.
AND THEN THE OUTRO STARTED.
WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT???
The song is absolutely horrible. I’m sorry but after an episode that was handled THIS well, THAT is what we’re ending on?! And then there were those horse sound effects or whatever those were supposed to be. We’re talking about SBR which is literally a story where horses are one of the most important elements and THAT is the sound they decided to use?!
And then just when I thought it couldn’t get worse, I find out the song was produced by Dr. Luke.
YOU CANNOT BE SERIOUS.
For those who don’t know, he was accused of sexual assault and abuse. Out of literally every producer they could have gotten, they landed on him? Araki would have revoked this choice if he knew (especially knowing how Lucy’s arc plays out).
TikTok is going to flood again, rightfully, with hate towards Netflix because of this fuckery they made.
