Why do parents asks their kids for money then get mad when they no

It's annoying because when people live with their parents as college students some parents like to live off their kids paychecks and of course I understand helping out with small bills but asking your kid for money over and over is annoying as hell and coming from experience they try to guilt trip you as well when you say no and sometimes even threaten them that they can't live with them anymore
