Any alternatives to 988?

…so..uh.. I now this isnt a great place to ask this but uh… is there any alternatives to 988? Uhm.. from my experience and research, 988 is a shitty hotline…and I cant find anything else.

If a good or better hotline is from another country then can I use a vpn for it? I also want it to be very personal and not-recorded (dont want my parents finding out nor my private information getting clipped).

I’m going through a lot and it’d be nice to receive a bit of help, i’ve been ignoring my mental health for years and years by now and I can feel that i’m at a point where I could commit to harm so the best option for me is to get some sort of help (other than therapy due to many reasons).

Also preferably a hotline that also has text on website feature?
