Newsom just passed a bill that completely bans underage marriage in california!!!! I'm genuinely SO happy right now, one thing about me is that I'm someone who takes up any chance to complain about underage marriage; it makes no sense, it's an easy rape loophole, it's literally grooming and I don't think it should be done under any circumstances.

This bill literally can't take effect any sooner for me （/TДT)/ I'm one who usually speaks up about politics, but this has to be one of THE best things I've seen Newsom do this year
