Sometimes I look through linkedin and it feels like everyone Ive ever known is doing sm better than me, like cool proper big boy careers and stuff. I just feel so behind, idk whats wrong with me..
Hi BTGG, another BTGG here (certified massive knockers, truly big honkin kabonkers). I can commiserate for many reasons, but I think the one thing I’ve found helpful to hold onto is that you’ve still got a LOT of life ahead of you, and finding the right thing and becoming successful in any way that’s meaningful to you doesn’t have a specific age.
Hell, my mom came out as Trans at 51 and she’s the happiest 57 year old I’ve ever met now! So who gives af what you’re doing for work or if you’re fulfilling your purpose yet. You’ve got time.
Most of the time they just play up their rolesik a girl who worked at Publix as a BAGGER and on her LinkedIn she added all sorts of crap like “excelled in customer service and produce development.” U just gotta make whatever minimum wage job u had/have sound professional and get a professional headshot, and you’re profile will look just as great.
nahh bro ppl on my linkedin work for like big companies, ik like 2 ppl that work for the BBC now, and a dude that's at like fkn JP Morgan, it's fkn insane

JP Morgan is crazyyyy. I follow a few ppl from my school that have gotten an internship with one of big 4 accounting firms and I get soo jealous. But u just gotta tell urself that sometimes these big companies aren’t all that. I’ve heard so many stories of how depressed ppl get while working at these big companies and they are finally happy while working at a small company, or opening their own business. I bet most of those ppl on LinkedIn are overworked and stressed out.
