So like... I applied to this ambassador program that required us to film a video and post it on social media (there's a form, they'll view it even if it has 0 views). If you pique their interest, you move on to the interview stage. A lot of my peers applied to it as well because this is a REALLY BIG opportunity and got into the interview stage. So far it's been a week and I haven't received an email yet. All of my friends have seen it. Organization members, acquaintances, etc. Some of them have asked if I have an interview slot yet. Idk what to reply because I feel like I won't receive a slot at all. I feel so stupid and ashamed, I worked on that video for around 80 hrs and sacrificed a lot to finish my application.
I feel pretty dejected about it, any advice on how to deal with the emotions it comes with + other people's expectations?
I don't quite understand what the event is, but from my pov, I don't see you as like failure, i think maybe others had some points that you might've lacked and the seats might be limited, but you did also give it your best, and that's pretty amazing in itself.
I think maybe think of it as something new that you experienced and learned, maybe if s...... reply
