been taking antidepressants prescribed by a general doctor at my local clinic, but honestly... they’re barely doing anything for me anymore at first things actually felt like they were getting a bit better, but then my OCD kept relapsing hard... like, a full week of non-stop relapsing while i was still on the first dose. my doctor ended up giving me a second round of the exact same med, but tbh, it’s still not helping at all
the most frustrating part is that an online psychiatrist from health app actually prescribed me meds specifically for OCD, but NONE of the pharmacies in my entire province stock them??? i’d literally have to travel to another island just to buy them, which is why i’m stuck taking basic antidepressants from the local clinic instead. ik i need to tell my doctor next time i visit about the fact the med do nothing, but i’m just so exhausted and nervous to bring it up
I’m sorry you’re going through such a hard time. Really awful to be going through that.
Here’s my input. Use it or not. Definitely best to talk to your doctor and say that the meds aren’t working and you want to try something else. Also talk to him about the other meds you found and maybe they can help you find a generic drug that can be g...... reply
