Hi guys I'm learning to draw
So I've been learning to draw by copying, and now that I've gotten the hang of it I've started trying to draw portraits, but the portraits keep looking like someone completely different. Any tips on how to fix this? Am I jumping in too fast? Also I'd love to hear what you did to improve your art skills, so I could work on mine as wellヾ(❀╹◡╹)ﾉ~
I have an inconsistent artstyle. I've been drawing for 3 years without any references and my art went from a wonky style to half body portraits. It's normal that it may sometimes look different from the reference. The only way I improved my skills is by drawing chibis. And bit by bit, went onto the faces, studied the anatomy and get some inspiratio...... 1 reply
