Hi guys I'm learning to draw
So I've been learning to draw by copying, and now that I've gotten the hang of it I've started trying to draw portraits, but the portraits keep looking like someone completely different. Any tips on how to fix this? Am I jumping in too fast? Also I'd love to hear what you did to improve your art skills, so I could work on mine as wellヾ(❀╹◡╹)ﾉ~
For the likeness of portraits id say u have to pay attention to the proportions and how evrything is sized up in comparison to evrything else
for : example when trying to draw the ear look for a guide to make out where it starts from lets say mid eye line and ends smwhere slightly above the nose etc etc and you'd hv to reiterate that process for ...... 1 reply
