Why is there a rise in fun police and bean soup haters?
Like I noticed this recently a lot of my silly, hyperbolic, or just loz xd type comments get like weird amount of distain. Like then started to notice that in a lot of fun or silly comments getting pissed off or like snarky comments. It just makes me think. Why are there people who take this website so seriously ( not talking about maintenance or anything actually serious) but like just like people enjoying things that they don't enjoy. Yes, I have made objectly weird or odd comments ABOUT FICTIONAL CHARACTERS, so why the fuck is it your business. Like a lot of people forget the art of ignorance or just blocking people. Like make your unhinged comments, your bad jokes, your horny jails jokes, no like comments, just be you. All this in all, I think is this site getting kinda policey and the rise in the " eww your werid " mentality. Like if your on this site you're a werido and you are welcome. I just think that new weirdos need to learn to be open minded ( r u openu mindedu) and normies needs to fuck off this site tbh. Like you gotta let people enjoy their pbj sandwiches with crust on without being an asshole.
because the internet has developed an environment in which being provocative, offensive, and deliberately irritating is often more rewarding. Being controversial and annoying gets you the attention you might not have gotten at home, and if attention is what you need, ragebait and offensive speech can easily get a reaction of people who are passiona...... reply
If you are posting on the internet, get ready to receive some feedback. This website isn't a 'diary' where you can just be yourself and no one would gaf . These forums are lowkey like social media. Honestly, in my personal opinion, more people than you can count are victims of cringe culture.
Because cringe culture is so rampant, anyone who isn't nonchalant or laid-back ( even in communities known to be cringe and are supposed to be safe places for losers ) gets dragged through the mud for just having a fun time.
