Yes, absolutely get it checked out if you can! If you need your wisdom teeth removed, it's better to do it now than wait until further complications. Where I'm from, it's usually done under local anesthesia unless the position or anatomy of the teeth require a more intrusive surgery. General anesthesia felt overkill to me and they didn't even offer......   reply

If it hurts, definitely get it checked. Chances are, it's starting to come out and impact your other teeth. I got mine removed because it was heavily advised by my orthodontist at the time. General vs local depends on the clinic you go to, I did local but an older sibling of mine did general. General does make you a look a little like a fool becaus......   reply

There's another ne......   reply

It's also recommended to get all of them removed, I only got my bottom two removed at first and the top ones started dropping down further than my other teeth bc there was nothing......   reply

I had a horizontal wisdom tooth stuck in my lower jaw. Ts hurts so fucking bad during surgery, but what truly hurts is the recovery because you're gonna be stuck at home for months, not allowed to do any heavy physical activity, and the anesthesia in my country was actually, normal. I think the anesthesia I took was the one where they stick a needl......   reply

Had 2 wisdom teeth removed last year. I must've had a great doctor cause it almost didn't hurt at all. Took local anesthesia, meaning they did injections into my gums. The first poke hurt a little, but then it was fine. And it didn't make me loopy or anything, I was still fully there. Surgery took around 40min. I put in a wireless earbud on one......   1 reply
