My semi hot take if you have nothing to say but wanna argue with me: The popular “I LOVE YURI!!!” comment is a HOMOPHOBIC COP OUT because it turns everyone into a hivemind that ignores the complexity and humanity of WLW relationships. And it’s still homophobic, even if you’re WLW.
I don't get people who don't like it when others ship themselves with BL characters. I mean if you ship yourself with a fictional character it's genuinely just admiration or puppy crush and nothing THAT serious so when I see people gatekeeping things like that just because "it doesn't match their Canon gender" it kinda just icks me out
