My relationship with food is kind of… strained, so I can’t say I’ve had many experiences where I ate to feel better… but I definitely prefer the familiarity and security of my moms cooking to anything else 95% of the time.. I don’t typically feel down in general, but there are meals I’d never grow tired of like grilled cheese or chicken......   reply

Am I. I’ve been picky my entire life, and the rest of my family isn’t at all, except my dad to an extent. My mom has to make alternate dinner for me cause I don’t eat most of the foods she makes herself. More than the actual taste of things, it’s usually the texture or smell that puts me off.
