Lately I've reading more other genres though but I won't quit yaoi, just read less because there's tons of other funny stuff out there in the manga world, like comedy, shoujo, horror etc. Once you hit the 20s you actually start reading things for the plot, who would have thought?

I started reading yaoi at 16 and I think it's the right age. At 16 we already know humans are horny and fcked up so there's nothing too surprising about yaoi, even the hardcore ones. Any age before 16 or 15 is a big NO. Childhood is already too short for god's sake, enjoy your innocence while you still have it
