It's a difficult question when you think about the logistics of it... talking to your past self could change the events that lead up to your current present, but talking to your future self could change everything after that. I'm the type of person with a lot of regrets, so I might be temped to change my past, but I think that would only create new......   1 reply

I know you said we can't do both, but I do think technically good characters can help drive the plot more than vice-versa. Well-written and unique characters can often make any story enjoyable, even if the plot is simple. If the characters are too boring, basic, or lack any depth, I could probably care less if the plot was good or not.   reply

I'm on birth control pills because my pain was too severe and that greatly lessened it, but that's something to talk about with your doctor if your pain is really bad and you think it's worth starting a med like that. I also recently started taking midol for period pain and it helps way more than the ibuprofen I've been taking my whole life.   1 reply
