Where I live, public schools are HELLA hesitant to hold a kid back or put them ahead. I remember having classmates who could barely read, or would write random answers on all their math tests as a kid. There are some quarters where I suddenly have a dozen friends and others where I don’t talk to a single classmate the entire time, so I can’t really blame you or give advice that works 100% of the time.
