Watched Manly's let's play of Endacopia.. and honestly, everything about the game is just amazing. It has that classic old point and click game vibe. The industry favors straight males heavily. Female protag representation doesn't always represent women's best interest. You can have a female protagonist and have her just be a sexual object for the male gaze, you can also have a male protag and have him be a beloved figure to female audience. Realtime > turn based > tactics I grew up way back when turn based was the norm, so I don't really mind it. And most of the time the auto battle options helps alat specially when grinding.
