7/10 It used to be a lot better, but recent changes in the government have been detrimental for me and the majority of society. It’s been really disappointing. Also, people are so obsessed with the biases of the media and making socially acceptable decisions (to not offend anyone), that they aren’t paying attention to the economic repercussions......   reply

I was on this site for 4 or 5 years before making an account, so I added a bunch of the stuff that I read during that time to my list. I also re read a lot of the stuff on my list. My favorite hobby is reading. I read a lot of paper books and a bunch of stuff on here. Some people might completely ignore paper books and choose to focus on this site.......   reply

I’m pretty disappointed. I was competing with this person for 1st place in the Duolingo ranking. It was down to seconds, and they beat me by 8 points. This is going to sound crazy, but I saw a video recently of this girl rubbing (I think adobo or jujube, I can’t remember but it was red) oil on her face in tiny circles for at least 5 minutes. Def check if your particular college offers scholarships (most will have merit based, needs based, and things like first gen student, poc, minorities, women in stem, etc) also check if the department you are applying to offers major specific scholarships. Personally love it. I’m on a 2006 day streak and have learned multiple languages. I’m most proficient in French and Italian, and I was even able to save some money by testing out of preliminary language courses for my minor thanks to Duo. I feel like I’ve finally grown into my face (I have a fairly defined bone structure that always made me look a bit old for my age and now I actually look my age). Haven’t noticed any wrinkles or changes in acne or skin yet. I have noticed that I lose muscle mass quicker and my joints hurt more, but that could also be due to a change in my worko......   reply

I stay. Cars love to speed past out of nowhere where I’m from (there’s a surprising amount of street racing especially as you get closer to the city) and will often run red lights trying to speed through yellows   reply
