Have you got a cold pack to go on your forehead? That’s usually all that helps me. These sound like migraines rather than just headaches, so normal painkillers aren’t as good. If you don’t have a cold pack, or cold strips, then get ice, or really cold water, in a cloth and lay it on your forehead.   2 reply

You don’t get notified as soon as something is updated, you get notified a couple of times a day with all the things that have new chapters. Sorry if you already know that and meant something else, but I find the notifications really consistent so I’m imagining that might be what your confusion is.   reply

I’ve always felt like the difference between being pan and being bi is whether gender or sexuality plays a role, so in my eyes you’d be bi as pansexuality means to me that it really doesn’t matter what gender or sexuality is. I browse the new manga by clicking at the top of the homepage, and just scroll down looking at what covers look good, or I look at lists of people with similar tastes. I also avoid webcomic style things cause they’re just so long and very hit and miss, which makes the site content manageable.   reply

I do cleaning for manga and a chapter takes me about 2-4 hours to clean, depending on how much Sfx there is, and then the translator has to do their bit and rien it gets typeset. We do it for free around our jobs and studying and life. Also manga wise, chapters usually come out every 2 months unlike webcomics, so if there’s 2 updates in 2-4 month......   2 reply

Choose your fandom, read and comment on other fics too. Think about WHY you want to write. For me it was “I like this ship, but there’s no fics, so I’m going to write them”. I don’t read/write on ao3 any more, but I was very involved in the Haikyuu fandom, and I offered beta reading to people before I got my own betas. Doing a bang help......   1 reply

9.4 is about the highest a rating is ever going to get, just purely cause of how ratings work. Nothing has 5 stars on here, not with a decent number of reviews. Fact is, things are scored out of 5 stars, but then the rating is out of 10. With low numbers of ratings given (not low ratings, just not many ratings given I mean) you hardly ever get 10/1......   2 reply
