I’ve been here years, I seriously don’t think they have moderators, especially not for what gets put on here. Only time anything is removed is cause there’s legal challenges. a lot of manga is put on here by automation, they don’t care what it is. Like earlier this year we lost our lists, it was impossible to contact anyone.

Okay so since there’s a discussion going on on a manga here, how do people feel about languages other than English being uploaded here?
I mentioned to an uploader that it’s English only on this site and have been called a spoilsport and that I’m bitching. I was honestly just trying to help. Someone else said it does no harm, so it made me think about it and wonder how everyone would feel if it happened to other manga.
I’ve been here 10 years and I’ve only ever seen English. I’ve always assumed there are other manga sites for other languages. Maybe I’m wrong and it’s not the rule that it’s only English, but reactions I’ve seen and the fact the whole site is English makes me think that’s probably the intention of the site.
Over the years I’ve seen people get annoyed when they’ve been notified and it’s a duplicate chapter or it’s in Japanese or Chinese. I thought people would probably be annoyed if they started getting notified of an update on an manga and it’s in another language, so that’s why I was giving a heads up.
In the spirit of learning what people think, how would you feel if there were translations in other languages uploaded on the manga page? Would you be okay with if there was a separate page for the translation in other languages? Would you prefer if this site stayed in English?
Personally what worries me about having other languages is that anyone who was here earlier this year has seen how the server copes with big influxes of data and visitors. If there were more languages (and more users) I worry the server would crash again and the whole site would be lost. This is why I say I’m not trying to spoil anything, I’m trying to protect the site so everyone can keep using it.
