As far as BL anime is concerned, I can really only think of Gravitation (which I still think was cute and really funny) and Mirage of Blaze. I believe this is perfectly normal, I don't think there's anything unusual about it. It occasionally happens that one falls asleep and wakes up again without realizing, and as a result you might feel like you weren't sleeping at all, when in reality you would have been sleeping for maybe ~ 2 or so hours (which, by the way, is at about the common du......   reply

From what you've described, according to my personal experience - I'd definitely stop reading. At least that's the (often sadly belated) conclusion I always eventually came to with all the manga I've read that were pretty much exactly as you describe. Looking at some of the replies, I'd like to just briefly chime in on this one and clarify that torturing insects is, in fact, DEFINITELY NOT something everyone does / did as a child!
