Cuz I read one on Ao3 years ago I won't say the Fandom but damn that story had me hooked till I finished it's all 60 chapter and gosh trust me when I say it took me weeks to recover from it!! Well in my case I try to understand what is the novel actually about before even starting it, like plot (not the spoiler things) or where it'll lead me and what I actually like, if I like that then I read the novel or I simply not.
