Well in my case I try to understand what is the novel actually about before even starting it, like plot (not the spoiler things) or where it'll lead me and what I actually like, if I like that then I read the novel or I simply not. Don't trust blind reccs first find what you like then go for that type of things. If it makes sence. And never follow ...... reply
