I tried watching the show, like, I really did, but it gives me so much fucking second hand embarrassment omg… I can’t watch sex scenes or kissing between two irl people either so I had to skip like 3/4’s of the first episode so I practically watched nothing. Realll, honestly I love slow burn more than anything so the longer it takes for the characters to get together, the better, but these porn addicts are destroying everything and now story’s that have some potential are just super rushed and boring. Frrr. I think authors sometimes just use it as an easy way to give characters trauma and not add any real depth or thought to it slowly making people take it less seriously.
