Yeah me too. The problem is that I'm surrounded with people. I have many friends, I go to parties, I even have a sex-friend (we literally only meet up to have sex, so... it's probably more a sex-acquaintance than sex friend?), yet I still feel so lonely... Except for my best friend who's a straight female, I literally hang out with only gay people, so my opinion may be biased, bur when I hear a word "dating" I immediately picture two gays or two lesbians. But that's because of my... environment, I guess. Straight couples are just as valid.   reply

Get a hobby that forces you to go out. Like, learn a language at some language school and interact with people there. Or go to a gym and talk to random people at the gym. In this way, you get to know more people. And the more people you get to know, the more likely it is you'll make friends with someone.   reply
