It depends on how the book handles dark topics. Though I'll always draw the line when it sexualizes children or teens (and incest). If it shows pedophilia/grooming in a way where it's acceptable or the character isn't condemned for it I'm out. Other than that if the these dark topics are written well enough for me I'll get through it
