I tend to bookmark then read. I'll find entire lists and go through them, add anything I think looks interesting then save them and read them. I see a lot of people read then bookmark, or forget to bookmark and lose it.

Idk, I'm someone who might read something from start to finish in a day and then reread a year later or stop reading halfway because I remembered something else I wanted to read so bookmarking before I read always just made more sense.

So, do you reserve your bookmarks for after you read to decide if it's precious, or do you bookmark everything you see that inherently looks cool?

I have a lot of weird nightmares, but certainly the strangest feeling would be getting stabbed or having a knife dragged down you. Or being hit. Not sure why, but it feels ticklish. Like, it's terrifying sure, but it's really ticklish in hindsight. Getting hit just feels light headed, but no specific pain. Maybe when you're dreaming there's pain, but you simply do not remember...?

Also, triggered-nightmares? There are some nightmares where if you imagine a specific series of events, the same nightmare will occur, at least personally.

For instance, for me, if I imagine me and my dad going to those red curtain theatres, and then going up onto the stage (no matter when during the play), I will always somehow end up dreaming that he and I were stuck in a maze being chased down by a stereotypical witch in purple or black. And the walls are always grey and taller than me, but not taller than my dad (I'm 155 cm, he's 174 cm).

What's a character kink that is common for the characters you like?

From what I know of the characters I like, fictional criminals are my kink haha...

(idk if the question is clear tbh because idk how to ask it)

They're irrelevant pieces of fat.

Clothing stops fitting when they decide to just grow for no reason other than to be annoying.

No matter how you sit you're squishing them if you're short like me; on the table, against the table, literally everywhere... NO the table doesn't go to my waist, it's always perfectly positioned... 'there'.

No matter how you cross your arms you're squishing them. Idk one of my classmates used to prop her boobs up with her arms by crossing them and would lean forward and idk just WHY? That's the only thing she can be proud of huh? Pieces of fat??? Dude it was so disturbing to see because she did it so obviously to prop them up... Like she'd dig them up and so on so forth.

No matter what you do, somehow in some way they get squished and it feels embarrassing... I used to sleep on my face, but now I don't because it just feels weird sometimes, especially if the mattress is hard. Soft mattresses are ok... but not by much. IT'S JUST WEIRD.

Oh my god, like they're depicted as these goldly globes of sex in manga, but they're so annoying irl. Especially with the sizes ig 'advertized' in manga; that'd be a such a pain in the back and everything. Imagine having boobs the size of your face? Just no... How would you wear anything? Do anything? You'd be a perfect human mattress--- Just idk waterbed but boob. Boob-bed.

No, lying on boobs that are larger than a certain size is NOT comfortable and is NOT recommended istg. It's just weird...

idk about man boobs, I don't really find them that attractive. Like, if you're going to sporting something bigger than a c-cup spread over double the area, then alright??? Like, that can't be comfortable... but then I remember that they're not actually fat, but muscle and ohh, they get boobs without the hassle and that's so unfair imo...

Anyway, your thoughts on boobs; manboobs or uhh ig womanboobs?

Nigeru Otoko is listed under Ono Natsume, but it's also listed under Basso. They also have similar art styles.

It wouldn't be the first time a manga artist had two separate names for different genre (especially yaoi/shounen ai lol).

Plus they both have a habit of using italian names.

idk, if it was wellknown, but it would be a cool coincidence.

ummm so, idk why but I was thinking about it and like, a lot of 'complex' villainess characters - they're complex due to the genre. As a category, they aren't very diverse and idk in doing so that makes them ig not complex as a result.

Like hear me out, if author writes a story about MC becoming the villainess, they aren't going to take the static villainess route from the hero's perspective, that's not going to be a 'good' or ig socially acceptable character would make more sense? So, they have to create the so-called complex character, not because it is complex, but because it's acceptable. They're complexity isn't really complexity as it is formulaic. They don't necessarily even know what makes a character complex, they just have to be able to 'side with the villainess' and that will eventually lead to a supposed complex character with varying motives.

But idk that's not ig real complexity, which I guess is not really complexity at this point (?). Like, I see some people complaining about the genericness of some characters and so on, but like, think about it this way. The author doesn't really have much of a choice in villainess plot. It's easier to make some tragic backstory than to create some sort of deep philosophical ideal as to why they might do so and so even if it's dangerous. Like, imo, the latter would be more jg controversial but more interesting. They can't risk people not agreeing or they just don't think of it. This leads to genericness and furthermore, a lack of ig real complexity... where the characters seem complex but really idk it's not that hard to make.

Umm the set up is already there. The MC is the villainess, thereby they usually automatically have faults. This is especially the case for if it's the villainess returning back in time. Something must have gone wrong and that usually (unless author is really stupid) leads to the necessary flaws. But when you think about it, is that really complex? You have the option to go back in time, the MC's fundamental personality has likely gone under severe reparations, then are those old personality traits still technically applicable as 'flaws'? I mean, yes they still remember but when I tried to consider them separately, idk I found that those fix-it villainess characters are pretty... uncomplex. Beyond regretting certain actions, they're not actually really all that special. I'd even argue that they're pretty uncomplex because now that they are living their second life they only really have 3 maybe 4 modes: regret, happiness at chance to redo things, bravery in face of time line change, and ig the lovey dovey.

Granted not all villainess reincarnation plots do this and it's not fair to say all of them are like this and that's not what I'm saying, but ig a lot of them are tbh, at least from what I've read. They all have the same base structure and idk, it seemed kind of weird to the point where it's not simply a matter of copying an idea.

Of course, I'm not saying your favourite character is dumb or anything, it's just something I thought of ig.

idk I can't sleep and finding a reason as to why so many reincarnation stories have similar character types seemed more interesting.

(this is so long and idk how I got here...)

The first manga I read was Death Note and L was godly until he decided to involuntarily leave the series.

I don't get it. Or the tiddies stuff. Especially the tiddies stuff. I'm sorry, but the attractive force of manboobs is something I don't get at all either.

I can get why people like the romance and like the plot aspect and I can get that people are horny... but there are people who just... like reading it... Like they like it.

┑( ̄Д ̄)┍

It confuses me.

What's a type of character (or a specific character) that you like in fiction, but when you imagine yourself meeting them, you think you'd really dislike them?

Personally, I really like manipulative characters (fyodor dostoevsky), characters that are said to 'read' people (imayoshi shoichi), or two-faced characters (idk like Mikado Ryuugamine) - but if I met people like them in irl I'd stay away for good reasons.

I was reading one on KHR that was like 97 chapters (I only read it because of that hehehe and I read all of it... last night... aha... I skipped the weird ones though...) and it ended up being a collection of works really. Some of them were actually pretty interesting (๑•ㅂ•)و✧ A lot of them were pretty repetitive ┑( ̄Д ̄)┍. Maybe a quarter was smut ┗( T﹏T )┛

Anyway, there were a few where the art looked exactly the same as the original manga, but also some that looked a little different. Personally, I think that it depended on what they were talking about. Some were about TYL KHR characters during uh a specific time uh set (... no spoilers?) and the anime and manga never really released what adult Tsunayoshi looked like ( ╥﹏╥ I'm still mad about that, man...) and so these future doujinshis would uh extrapolate.

Honestly, he looked like Firo Prochainezo from Baccono! in most of them tbh...

But! There was one where he had long hair and honestly, even though the artstyle was different I thought it was pretty cool. Most of the doujinshis had pretty similar art, and there was honestly only a few that were really really~ similar to the original art. But I was just curious because sometimes they would make Tsunayoshi look 10 (/TДT)/ (honestly kind of weird) or excessively cuter... which was also kind of weird...

"how can someone become more cute as they become more stupid" is specifically what I remember Mukuro saying (๑•ㅂ•)و✧ He's right lol.

So... I'm just curious as to whether people like doujinshis with wildly different artstyles and interpretations or if they like them uh close to home (?)?
