Sometimes a change in environment helps a LOT. I used to be in a similar situation and it was really lonely, but that feels kinda distant now. I thought that things will get better was all bs when I was younger but yea no. Not saying things are perfect now but it's better enough to say I'm glad I waited. I love fanfictions and fanart sm!! its so nice seeing the love people have for a media and the dedication they have to it. flopped job interviews, uni application rejected (not too upset ab it bc I have alternative options but it still sucks) got my first gf and made many new friends..
