I did this before and it went well, but the essence is to give me any rant that you’ve been thinking about and I’ll give my two cents. Only rules are don’t hold yourself back nor apologize if you feel like you wrote too much. This could be about literally anything like school, politics, life troubles, crush, or even OC lore. Yk how people say there’s some things you need to grow out of as you grow up? Well, I feel like there’s some things you need to hold onto. Like why did my mama get mad at me and said I should ignore someone when i fought with them bc they were calling my friend and me homophobic and racist slurs??? Like, we were minding our own damn business, mind you. Idk, I feel like standing up for yourself isn’t something you should GROW out of. Do you guys think there are any other ones?

If you cannot pay respects to one culture without relying on Pinterest boards and Orientalist fantasies? DONT WRITE THEM, I DONT care how good your story is, it’s a no for me.

If you cannot color your POC characters correctly, and yes that includes the fact that POC have lighter palms and soles of feet in comparison to the backs of their hands and their color isn’t some ashy discolored bullshit, THEN DONT DRAW THEM.

I’m sick and tired of the standard being “when he’s a brownie ” and it’s the most ashiest, orientalist stereotype of a character ever fucking written. WE deserve better representation and respects to our cultures than some half-assed colonizer fantasy.

And yes ofc this includes and happens to Japanese, Korean, and other East Asian cultures by white people but they are NOT the focus of my rant.

My boyfriend lost an arm wrestling match against his baby niece despite being a state wrestling champion, and I thought "wow, that's BDE" but then my dumbass was like "no, that's just kindness, and you're ovulating."

Sometimes I abandon stories and then if I see a notification for a chapter I read that one chapter and hate based on what I remember. Sometimes I don’t even read and I still hate. I’m lowkey just a hater.
