Look at a lot of faces. No, seriously, just stare at faces and understand how their structure works (this can be anatomically like accounting for bone structure). Reading comics also helps, especially if you read comics with characters drawn in the style you want to draw in (I read Aisha) and it’s an overall great way to memorize faces.
