While I agree with a lot of this, I do think that some of the stuff you mentions in the stereotype area, I think some of the tropes are just from like negative tropes in anime in general. Like the rapist and victim fall in love and like way younger and way older person and the student and teacher thing.   1 reply

I mean like if its like haikyuu with like very major ships and a more silly story sometimes then hell yeah, but..... if it's like Tokyo ghoul with tortured kaneki and pedophile tsykiyama... uh then no. I honestly don’t remember how... but I read love stage like halfway before realising it was ‘yaoi’, then I proceeded to go onto manga rock when it was still alive, found the filter, and then I discovered heaven.
