True, most are not that interesting, but some authors create some wonderful couples or potential partners and their little story arc at the end can be very satisfying. It really comes down to the author and what the side characters contributed to the plot. Example below   2 reply

The Murder of Sylvia Likens, so cruel and horrible Josef Mengele’s Experiment Serial killer Albert Fish who tortured, murdered and cannibalised children. Wrote to parents describing how they tasted, how he killed them. Murders of Channon Christian and Christopher Newsom. And many more, but these ones still stick in my head   reply

Manhwa are much like a tv soap. Lots of the time they don’t know when to end and can ruin a once great story by adding never ending extra content. My biggest peeve are the empty episodes. You can have a whole episode with little happening or not much progress in a story (even the recap is just a way to put more pages in a chapter) but it’s in n......   1 reply

Idc if people enjoy using their imagination to get a good “what if” scenario going. They are just 2D characters and besides that, some authors create excellent male characters but struggle to not simply use the FCs for fan service. If the fans were always choosing some random FC to ship you seem the sort who would crap on that too. Perhaps yo......   reply

I am sorry to hear that you have been struggling with so much. Our mental health can be so vulnerable to long term stress, and sadly family stressors can be the hardest to deal with because there are so few ways to escape them long enough to deal with them. Although the argument sounds bad, it does have the positive in that you shared with your pa......   1 reply

There is an argument that since we no longer live a life of survival of the fittest, all the poor genetic traits are being bred to next generations and there is a dumbing down and devolution taking place. At least in Western nations. Idk about enabled, but there sure are a lot of entitled, narcissists and hedonists. Resilience is missing in so ma......   1 reply

You are more patient than me. I can’t be assed talking to the wilfully ignorant prejudiced people who read 2 lines of something and think they know all about it ┑( ̄Д ̄)┍ Having said that, this is nicely explained and clear enough to penetrate the thickest heads. Well said   reply
