Don’t be so quick to go down the “yay gimme the drugs” path for adhd. See if other strategies work first. That’s just my recommendation as someone who has worked with kids with these problems; pills are seldom magic ‘Insta cured!’ delights but a whole new problem in and of themselves. Just my opinion being tossed out there for what it�...... reply

When I was around 5 or so, my family lived in the tropics in a house on stilts. I used to go on the verandah, climb over the railing, slide down the drain pipe, run to the front and up all the stairs, then bang open the door and happily say, “Hi Mom!”
