I read an Omegaverse like that once. It was so sad coz the adult recognised his fated mate but they were still a child. So he approached the mom, told her, and asked to be part of the boys life. It’s a lot of determination and zero social life unless you have a good study partner to work with, then a lot of determination and someone to chat with on brain breaks.
