Realtime > turn based > tactics I grew up way back when turn based was the norm, so I don't really mind it. And most of the time the auto battle options helps alat specially when grinding. Yeah dw that's normal. Also ur young so your mind tends to find another more stimulating interest. Then you'll hyperfocus on that new interest, then get tired and the cycle goes on.
