Hi! Mental illness runs in my family, so ,when I started to show signs of OCD when I was 12, we knew what it was. It started out with counting, compulsive hand washing, and some pretty nasty intrusive thoughts. My parents are the "deal with it on your own" type, so I didn't seek help until I felt like I was putting my life in danger by not doing so......   1 reply
