My mom reads yaoi, and almost all my friends do. I found out about yaoi cause my mom was watching black butler and I was like, why are you watching this, and she was like," I wanted yaoi, but its shounen ai." sortaa? i've been reading more normal manges like adventure, fantasy, slice or life, etc. i havent really found much good ones that arent DJs since i try to stay away from them since they always get my hopes up and get me interested or even more interested than i am lol. and eve when i try to reread my favorite yaoi's and expect to find good ones, ...... 1 reply
Hahaha! I used to think that a long time ago. After reading yaoi for so many years, I realized that I have phases where I'm obsessively reading it and try to find really good ones, then I stop reading for a while. It became a cycle. I'm currently in my obsessive phase right now.

I feel like i've kind of out grown some of the oneshot type stories for the most part, now I really love falling in love with the characters personalities and watching their love/stories unfold.
